Community Forum Scheduled for May 5, 2014

Cameco's next Community Liaison Forum is scheduled for Monday, May 5 at the Carpenters' Union Hall in Port Hope. This will be the 25^th forum we have held since the process was started in May 2006.

An update on Cameco's Vision 2010/Vision in Motion project will be the main topic of the forum. Shane Watson, project manager, will deliver a history of the project and provide an overview of our latest plans for addressing historic issues and for improving the appearance and efficiency of the Port Hope conversion facility.

The evening will begin with an update on Cameco's local operations followed by a question and answer session. After Shane delivers his presentation and responds to questions from the audience, our moderator will lead us through an exercise to help identify topics for future forums.
